Send features of the iR-ADV C5045 Photocopier
The Canon imageRUNNER Advance C5045 comes standard with basic send options. This basic send functionality allows a user to send their document to E-Mail/Internet FAX (SMTP), PC (SMB/FTP) in formats such as TIFF, JPEG, PDF, XPS, High Compression PDF/XPS, pDF/A-1b, Policy Protected PDF and more.
With these send options as standard on the iR-ADV C5045 your users can easily send documents to several destinations without any additional software or hardware. This makes the iR-ADV C5045 a true multifunctional device.
Improved image quality using the iR-ADV C5045 Photocopier
The imageRUNNER Advance C5045 can print up to 1200 dpi producing superior print quality for its size. Using proven imagePRESS technology the iR-ADV C5045 has superb image quality using V-Toner, e-Drum (Black Only) and the ACRDAT (Automatic and Reciprocal Colour Density Adjustment Technology) calibration process.
New, Larger user interface for easy navigation
The new larger 8.4 Inch full colour user interface now has a tilt mechanism to allow the screen to be moved to the perfect angle for viewing depending on where the photocopier is situated in the office. Because the display is larger, the button and controls on the screen are also larger making the multifunctional device easier to use.
The main page can now display up to 16 applications .vs 12 and can be customised with your own background, colours and buttons
More durable consumables reducing engineer visits
Everyone knows how frustrating it is when your photocopier needs a service engineer and you need to use the photocopier. The imageRUNNER advance series provides a vast improvement in up time with expected improvements to be between 20-30%. This is achieved by using the latest in consumable parts, such as the Film Unit (fixing), the Drum Unit and Developer. Whereas the developer and drum were combined in previous models, they are separated and therefore reduce running costs
Fax option
The entire imageRUNNER advance C5000 series range of photocopier has the option of a fax board. This provides true fax ability and now has the option of a second line compared to just a single fax line on previous models. If you have a multi-device office and they all require fax capability, there is now the option to have a master fax device and by adding remote fax kit to the other devices you can reduce your costs but still provide true fax capability.
