High Speed Cheque Scanning:
With a Duplex scanning speed of 180 cheques per minute, the CR-180II cheque scanner is up to twice as fast as other compact cheque scanners. With the CR 180II its very quick and easy to choose from the six types of black and white and Greyscale scanning modes and the five levels of scan resolution (up to 240 x 240 dpi) available. With the CR 180 II high volume load tray, far less time is wasted stopping and starting between jobs.
Precise Reading:
The CR-180-II cheque scanner reads the MICR line with a high precision Canon magnetic reader and can also read simultaneously with OCR software. In addition, the CR180II Cheque Scanning Utility software allows the MICR data to be saved in several different ways: as the file name of an image, in a TIFF file tag, or in a log file for reference.
Advanced Image Processing:
With features such as Black Border Removal, De-skew, Advanced Text Enhancement and Adaptive Threshold, the CR-180II cheque scanner can manipulate cheques with coloured and illustrative features or illegible writing so that the resulting scanned image is dramatically improved, without any data loss.
Smooth Document Feeding:
The CR-180II allows you to adjust the feed mechanism to match the thickness of your documents, which ensures that each one moves smoothly into the scanner. Duplicate forms can be fed into the CR180II cheque scanner also, by turning off the paper separation mechanism.
Bundled Software:
The Canon Scanning Utility application software on the CR-180II high speed cheque scanner offers scanning, file saving, image viewing, printing and various other functions. The CR-180II comes bundled with a standard ISIS/TWAIN driver and a one based around the renowned Silver Bullet Technology’s Ranger™ Transport API software, meaning the CR-180II can function seamlessly with all the leading cheque processing software. A Software Development Kit (SDK) is also incorporated into the CR180II to ensure integration into any workflow system.
