At Falcon we believe strongly that environmental policy and business strategies go hand in hand to create a viable and stable company with a satisfied customer base. We also recognise that we are responsible for our own environmental impact and this must take a high priority in the running of everyday business processes.

This is why Falcon are dedicated finding ways to minimise their environmental impact and implementing a strong environmental strategy.

• Encourage each employee at Falcon to adopt waste reduction and recycling as a high priority.
• Establish an on-going evaluation of business processes to make sure these are always as efficient and economical as possible.
• Actively promote recycling both within Falcon and throughout our customer base.
• Ensure all power/paper saving technologies on supplied equipment are actively promoted to end users with full understanding of the on-going environmental benefits.
• To make every employee at Falcon aware of the importance of our environmental policy and endeavour to meet or exceed each relevant point.
• Reduce waste by making sure that all used IT equipment is redistributed amongst employees, given to local charities or recycled.
• Conserve energy by turning off lights/heating when rooms are going to be unoccupied, only turning on machinery over the period when it is required. Computer equipment is automatically turned off overnight.
• Promote economical use of paper and consumables both internally and amongst our customer base.

• All fleet delivery vehicles are running Diesel fuelled engines. Regular tyre pressure and service checks are carried out to ensure maximum on-going running efficiency.

• Our main product line is manufactured by Canon, a company with an extremely strong environmental policy, with Canon UK being recently recognised by the Sunday Times as a "Best Green Company 2008".
• Canon continuously improve the technology in their equipment, meaning Falcon can supply equipment with the latest groundbreaking environmental and power saving technologies.
• At Falcon we only use genuine Canon parts and toner to ensure that all our products have been manufactured in a way that is both environmentally and ethically responsible.

Falcon promotes recycling and waste reduction both internally and externally by:

• Supplying full training for end users regarding various energy saving features of supplied equipment, ensuring maximum promotion of the environmental benefits.
• Promoting paper saving solutions both internally and externally to minimise unnecessary waste.
• Offering toner/cartridge recycling facilities through trustworthy third party companies. This makes sure toner and cartridges are disposed of safely and helps to reduce landfill waste.
• Recycling shipping packaging for equipment via local approved companies.
• All waste paper is shredded to minimise volume and then recycled on a regular basis.
• All old equipment collected from clients is recycled according to best environment practices.

Falcon acknowledge that corporate social and environmental responsibility are vital in the everyday business processes and this is recognised by Falcon being CSR Certified by CAESER for corporate environmental, social and economic responsibility.
